Returns Policy Thermometers Direct

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

If you have any problems please phone, write, or e-mail Thermometers Direct and we will endeavour to sort out the problem. Please phone 01252 544263 between 9.30am and 5.30pm GMT Monday - Friday. Call costs will change depending on how you phone but this is a Standard BT Phone line, NO PREMIUM RATES HERE

Please report non-delivery after 10 days of placing the order and IT MUST BE before 30 days if delivery is to the UK.
If an item needs replacing please phone 01252 341000 or e-mail, so we can make arrangements.

If the goods are faulty the goods will be replaced / repaired free of charge or for a full refund if sent back within 30 days of you receiving the goods. BUT you must phone or email in the 1st instance as its not always required to send the goods back. If you do just send the goods back POSTAGE WILL NOT be Refunded.

A calibrated thermometer if ordered in error / or not wanted can only be returned up to 10 days after purchase
because the certificate has a expiry date

Complaints are handled on a one to one bases by phone or e-mail, even by post if a reply is not urgent and we will try and come to a satisfactory conclusion within 3 days of the complaint, all complaints will remain confidential and fair.

If you no longer require the goods that you have ordered you can return them within 14 working days, that begin on the day after you have received the goods. We can not refund the cost of the return postage. A refund will be made within 14 days, of Thermometers Direct receiving the returned goods
This is your right to a cooling off period. Please when sending the goods back get a Proof of posting or even insure the goods in case it gets lost.
When returning unwanted items.

These must be NOT be used, must come with the invoice and in retail packaging otherwise we are unable to refund the item.

Medical Thermometers, can not be returned Unless faulty

If the goods get lost we can not refund the money but you should be able to make a claim through the shipper i.e. Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
We can not refund items that are in a unsaleable condition i.e have been used unless they are faulty
This does not affect your statutory rights.
